To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply Farms will not be liable for losses arising from reliance on, or use of, its spreadsheets, calculators, templates, website content or other decision-support tools, including losses resulting from inaccurate user inputs, assumptions, estimates or business decisions made using the information provided.
Simply Farms does not guarantee that its tools will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every farming business or situation. Users should independently verify important calculations and obtain appropriate professional advice before making significant financial, legal, tax, veterinary, agronomic or investment decisions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.
Intellectual Property & Permitted Use
All Simply Farms spreadsheets, calculators, templates, written content, branding, designs and other materials are owned by Simply Farms or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless stated otherwise, purchasing or downloading a Simply Farms product gives the purchaser a personal, non-exclusive licence to use that product within their own farming or business operation.
Simply Farms products must not be copied, resold, redistributed, shared publicly, uploaded to another website or platform, or reproduced for commercial sale without prior written permission from Simply Farms.
You may make reasonable internal copies for use within your own farming business or organisation, but the product must not be distributed to unrelated third parties.
Digital Products, Cancellation & Refunds
Simply Farms products are supplied digitally and are normally made available for download immediately after purchase.
Where required by law, customers purchasing digital content will be asked to expressly agree that the download may begin immediately and acknowledge that, once the download begins, they lose their normal 14-day right to cancel. UK online-selling rules specifically require this consent before immediate digital downloads are supplied.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If a digital product is faulty, materially not as described or does not function as it should, please contact Simply Farms so that the issue can be investigated and an appropriate remedy provided where required by law. UK consumers retain statutory protections for faulty digital content.
Where there is no fault with the product and the digital download has begun after the required consent has been provided, refunds will not normally be offered simply because the purchaser changes their mind.
Accuracy & Updates
Simply Farms aims to provide useful, accurate and up-to-date tools and information. However, farming costs, prices, legislation, support schemes, tax rules, technical recommendations and other information can change over time.
Simply Farms does not guarantee that every spreadsheet, calculator, template or piece of website content will remain current indefinitely. Users are responsible for checking that any information they rely on remains appropriate at the time they use it.
Simply Farms may update, amend or withdraw its tools and content from time to time. Unless specifically stated otherwise, purchasing a digital product does not guarantee access to future versions or updates.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use & Disclaimer are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, except where applicable law gives a customer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Changes to These Terms
Simply Farms may update these Terms of Use & Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in its products, services, business practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be published on the Simply Farms website.
Where a change materially affects an existing purchase or licence, Simply Farms will apply the terms that were in force at the time of purchase unless a change is required by law.
